We are an equal opportunity school with our membership composed of electrical contractors throughout the Southern New Mexico region. SNMIEC is one of over 50 chapters’ nationwide providing training and education of the nationally accredited curriculum backed by New Mexico Workforce Solutions for education and funding. Our contractor members, although competitors in the workforce, unite under the roof of the SNMIEC training center in order to build a better workforce for the electrical trade. Apprenticeship is a unique opportunity offering paid on the job training along with routine classroom instruction in order to prepare apprentices for skilled, high paying jobs upon completion.
